I wasn’t trying to say you were stupid, if that’s what you mean. You referred to what I said as a “tactic” and basically used the stereotype “nerd” to invalidate my analogy. The analogy is valid. There are other lifeforms in the universe who are likely to be more technologically capable than us.
“Wishing” is not uniquely human. Animals clearly show that they do not wish to be killed. Watch slaughterhouse footage and you’ll see evidence of sorrow.

ofcourse I would not wish to be hunted. But ‘wishing’ is also a uniquely human trait. I’ll retract nerd statement just because I know and like many ‘nerds’.
Also, what education are you talking about. I have a college diploma and a Bsc so….Maybe you are referring to you ‘educating’ me. If that’s the case it comes across as a little pompous. If not, disregard.

I’d hardly call that a tactic. I asked you a valid question that you failed to reply to. If aliens were to land on Earth that were wholly superior to you technologically and felt themselves superior to you in value, would you wish to be harvested as food? It’s not so hypothetical when you consider the very high probability that we are not alone.
It’s pretty sad that society is kept stupid with “nerd” stereotypes. You are being denied a basic education.
