Michael’s Bear Hunting, Deer Hunting and Goose Hunt

This is Michael's first bear hunt, he killed a nice bear at just 10 years old! He used his youth .243 with bullets he loaded himself to kill this great black bear. The bear came in to 25 yards and the kid split his heart with the first shot. This kid was as steady as a rock even as the bear charged at our tree that our stand was just 4 feet up. Michael cranked out two more rounds while the bear charged and the bear fell dead 10 yards past the base of our tree and only had the one hartshot hole in him. Yes we eat everything we shoot whenever possable, the bear in this video was donatated to a needy family that had signed up for meat donations before hunting season, it is nearly impossable to get a carcuss across the border. The deer in this video was the first meal of many the same evening of the hunt and tenderloin for breakfest the next morning.

No Sir, he split the heart, he hit it just as we practiced on a life size bear target over and over again. The bullet went in behind the front shoulder, and expanded as designed and cut the heart in two. The bullet we used Michael made himself, we reload our own ammo and Michael loaded all the rounds used for practice and for the hunt. The kid was steady as a rock faceing that bear, no buck feaver, no hesitaion, no fear.

The outfitter had a list of needy families that had signed up to recieve the meat, we could not bring it across the border without a ton of hassel, the hide is being mounted, still waiting for it.

Thanks for the compliments, how am I teaching my kid that animals are monsters? We watched bears come and we watched them go when we had a shot at a big one he took it. Where does the monsters come from, we raised and hand feed 214 animals all total in 2008 alone, we saw fawns feeding on does, we saw elk cleaning themselves and so on, how do you figure I am teaching him they are monsters, the only thing we emptyed or guns on this year were wolves and prarie dogs, we watch wildlife mostly.

Im alright with hunting but you should really teach your kid that animals arent monsters. Anyways good shot and nice video.

That shows you how bad your thinking really is, totally leagel, we were there to hunt a bear and we did! JERKS are people that comment on things they have no clue about. I dont know anything about you but I am sure you would have wet your pants when this bear showed up and this ten year old held steady and put a bullet in its heart.
