Moose Hunting in Quesnel B.C
Moose hunting trip in Quesnel B.C from Oct. 31 to Nov.7. This was mine and my dads great vacation to Quesnel. My uncle invited us to come so us being total fishermen and hunters said yes. I had just passed my core the week earlier and never killed somthing while hunting yet i have been hunting since i was 2. Well anyway we were road hunting up in nazco and we saw a logging road leading to the top of a small mountain. So knowing that it wasn't cold enough to makle them move down that they would be higher up. We drove along this ridge and my dad and my friend daves dad said hey we got moose down at the tree line so we all got out. My buddy dave was using an iron sight so he wasn't going to shoot meanwhile Glen(my buddies dad) with his 7mm lined up, along with my dad and his 7mm. Then theres me with my little marlin 30-30 sighted in at 100 yrds sitting on the ground with the highest heart rate ever. After my dad took the first shot i was a gun battle. Glen took 2 shots, my dad took 2 shots and I took 3. If you haven't guessed... the moose was goin down. He was with 1 cow and what looked like an imature bull(about 2/2). So they got away but we got the one we were shooting at. Then the question was... who shot it? Well i offered to gutt the next one so it was my turn. I was about 1/2 way done and then i needed help with the esophigus so glen went in there and shure enough theres my bullet that had gone through both lungs and was siting in the far side of the hide. Take your guess on how far the shot was..................
It was a 493 yard shot with a 30-30 Marlin with a 4*32 scope sighted in at 100yrds. Damb right. It was me. So i've got the bullet and the wrack right here at home to prove it.

Congrats on getting the bull BUT what stikes me more than anything is your lack of respect to the animal. I am a serious hunter myself who loves this sport. This video and your comments are NOT what we hunters need today in regards to all those who oppose hunting. Sorry to be a downer, but you might want to think about that before putting something like this on You Tube again.

it weighed 485 pounds and we dragged it about 30 yards then we tied it to a wench line, wenched it about 75 yards then towed it 200 yards to a little ridge right on the edge of a deactivated road were we pulled it into the bed of the truck then we drove it 1 km to camp. There we hung it with my uncles crane on his service truck. Then we skinned it and let it hang.
